Distilled in 2000 at Loch Lomond Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, this 12 year old single malt was matured in a sherry cask at Dà Mhìle in Wales. Each bottling is from a single cask without chill-filtration or caramel colouring.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Toffee fudge, burnt blackened fruit cake and vanilla with dried apricot, peach, nectarine zest and apple crumble. Water reveals eucalyptus notes.

Taste:

Rich, full-bodied and beautifully balanced. Blackened fruit cake, eccles cake and vanilla with cinnamon and clove spiced oak. Water opens and amplifies dried fruit with eucalyptus and mocha coffee.

Aftertaste:

Cinnamon, clove spice oak with more burnt raison. (Each bottling is from a cask so expect some variation on the theme.)
