Initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in Sauternes wine casks, Silver Reserve 1991 is the first release in Teeling's Vintage Reserve range of limited edition single malt Irish whiskeys. Only 5,000 bottles were produced.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Dried apricots, white grapes, cut grass, vanilla and pastry with green apple, peach pie and set honey. Water amplifies toasty oak.

Taste:

Golden syrup, dry cinnamon spiced toasty oak and light saltyness with faint mocha. Go easy with the water.

Aftertaste:

Dry heavily toasted oak.
