Review and Tasting

Sampled on 11/09/2014

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Vanilla fudge with peppery prickle. Chocolate, popcorn and woody nutty notes with faint leafy green and floral aromas. Vanilla and faint eucalyptus is released with water.

Taste:

Creamy vanilla fudge, nuts, some green apple, zesty tangerine orange, clove spice and faint chocolate. Water amplifies vanilla fudge and overripe banana with faint liquorice and anise. Go easy with the water.

Aftertaste:

Fudge turns to toffee on the long finish with faint stewed fruit - still with vanilla and clove. Some dry resinous tannins.
