Belsazar Vermouths are based on wines from Germany's South Baden region and are fortified with Schladerer fruit brandy, produced by a family-run company in the Black Forest, and made more complex with a herbal infusion that includes wormwood. The vermouths are married in stoneware.

Appearance:

Clear, dull tawny red.

Aroma:

Vanilla, jammy red berries, biscuit, dried fruits, plums, pine, earthy liquorice with potpourri, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon spice.

Taste:

Bittersweet, raspberry, strawberry and plum jam with liquorice, vanilla, orange peel, chocolate, clove and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Bark, jammy fruit, tannins and clove spice and lingering bitter sweetness.
