Ingredients:
2 fl oz Patrón Silver blanco tequila
1 fl oz Strucchi Bianco Vermouth
4 drop Difford's Margarita Bitters

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of coin-sized lime zest twist cut thick with some flesh on the back so that when the zest is expressed over the cocktail a few drips of juice also drop into the cocktail.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

A 2:1 Dry Martini that's like no gin or vodka comparison – it's arguably better.

History:

Adapted from Megs Miller's Mex Martini and crucially it is her advice to use a bianco vermouth or bianco Americano that makes this cocktail. Megs prefers a lemon zest twist but for me, where there's tequila there should be lime, and of course Margarita Bitters.
