Review

I also tried this fruity vodka-based aperitivo with orange curaçao but it works better with triple sec.

Any thought on trying this with Ruby Red Grapefruit instead of pink?

Decided to try this using Pamplemousse liqueur instead of the Triple Sec. It was great. A little on the sour side, so others may want to add a small amount of simple syrup.
Strong grapefruit flavours with herbal hints from the vermouth.

That's a great observation. I've added a link to the Pompanski Martini above.

Thanks you... But I'm still wondering who is Mr or Ms Pompanski. 😉 We will never know..

Can you do this with lemon or lime juice instead?

Both lemon and lime are more acidic than grapefruit so you need a lot less. Would produce a very different cocktail.

This is a perfect afternoon or before-dinner cocktail. Wonderfully fruity, but still dry. Great hints on grapefruit.
