Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
| 30 ml | Mezcal Union Blanco |
| 30 ml | Heering Cherry Liqueur |
| 15 ml | Ancho Reyes chili liqueur |
| 3 dash | Angostura Cocoa Bitters |
| 20 ml | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 10 ml | Sugar syrup 'simple' (1 sugar to 1 water, 48°Brix) |
