Ingredients:
1 oz Aromatized wine (e.g. Lillet Blanc)
12 oz Grapefruit gin
12 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
12 oz Gentian liqueur (e.g. Suze, Salers etc)
12 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
4 drop Bob's Grapefruit Bitters

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.

OK, so I had to try this; five favorite ingredients including the grapefruit bitters, but I didn't have a grapefruit gin. So I used Beefeater and added a generous dash of grapefruit bitters. Awesome. Including Salers Yellow Cap, Luxardo Rosso and Beneroy Fine Calvados.
