Had to use a peach tincture (because no peach bitters) and it was like a nice after-meal drink, with plenty of freshness thanks to the mint and elderflower.

Today I replaced the elderflower liqueur and the sugar syrup with 2 cl (good quality) elderflower syrup, which worked very well.

Just made a wonderful version of this with wild mint (pepperminty flavor) and elderflower/bergamot 2:1. I ran out of St Germain and made up the difference with Italicus Rosolio de Bergamotto. Also used two thirds sugar syrup (ran out of that as well). Started sipping before adding the lemon zest and almost couldn't stop! Might leave that out next time and perhaps swap the elderflower for Italicus. Look forward to trying Mr. Ankrah's recipe as written.

This time around made it with Tanqueray and Combier Liqueur de Sureau plus the wild mint and loved it!
