Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
34 oz Peach schnapps liqueur
14 oz Aniseed (anise) liqueur
1 12 oz Dubonnet/French rouge aromatised wine
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Pierre Ferrand 1840, De Kuyper Peach Schnapps, Ricard Pastis, Vermut Lustau... yeah, not to ingredient spec but, my oh my, that is a bizarre taste (anise-forward, by a touch)... Hmm, in the aftertaste, after a few beats, it seems to want to come together. Maybe I was too quick to judge... (26 Jun 2023, 1:13p)
