Ingredients:
1 23 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
56 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
12 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Fresh strawberry

How to make:

SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice and strain into glass filled with crushed ice. DRIZZLE bitter red liqueur over the cocktail (which will bleed through ice as it sinks).

History:

A riff on Dick Bradsell's classic Bramble created in November 2022 by Juan Jose Orellano Peñalver during a Bar Academy in the Caribbean to showcase how to make classic cocktails. Juan Jose's original recipe calls for Arbikie Kirsty's Gin and a serve over cubes or a chunk of block ice.

I made it with cubed ice like the original. Was extremely unremarkable with a very bitter finish.

Excellent! Just the right amounts of lemon, Campari, and simple to balance it out

Beautiful color, and it actually makes Campari somewhat palatable!
