Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Shiraz red wine
1 oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
14 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
12 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Was looking for an after dinner cocktail to use up some left over red wine. This was perfect for the occasion. It was not overly sweet and perfect for after dinner or a night cap.

One of the reasons I always refer to Difford's Guide is because of how similar our tasting impressions are. The review for this cocktail is absolutely spot on.
