Ingredients:
1 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco liqueur
1 oz Ambrato/ambre/amber vermouth
12 oz Bitter almond liqueur
12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
0.04 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky

Garnish: Roasted almonds

How to make:

STIR all ingredients with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Negroni Bianco

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in March 2023 by Jo Cola at Baan Tepa in Bangkapi, Bangkok. Originally made with GIL Gin (a peated rural gin from Calabria, Italy, I've replaced this with a dry gin and a touch of peated Scotch whisky.

  • 1.6 standard drinks
  • 24.73% alc./vol. (24.73° proof)
  • 22.6 grams of pure alcohol

Very spirit forward. Did not have the Bitter Almond so substituted 50/50 Amaretto and Grappa. Outstanding aperitivo. Bitter with a hint of sweet. Almond garnish a definite plus to accentuate the almond flavour.
