Serve in

a Coupe glass...
fl oz Cognac V.S.O.P.
1 fl oz Triple sec liqueur
¾ fl oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ fl oz Pineau des Charentes blanc
½ fl oz Chilled water (omit if wet ice)
  • Display recipe in:

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Lemon zest twist (some like with a sugared rim)

Comment:

Complex and balanced but still a 'sour'. Those with a sweet tooth may prefer with a sugar rim. Also consider trying what has become something of a standard modern recipe:
1 2/3 shot (50ml) Cognac
1 shot (30ml) Triple sec
2/3 shot (20ml) Lemon juice
