Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz White overproof rum (unaged Jamaican/funky)
2 oz Sorrelade
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
1 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Serve with straws.
  6. Garnish with lime wedge.

I had no Wray & Neph OP on hand; tried this w/ 2:1 Hamilton 151 and Myers's... Made the sorrelade recipe here. Solid... Stupid tasty with my stock Jamaican demerara 2:1 syrup, but maybe a bit too intense with the dark sugars. One and done... With the darker rums, try 20 ml lime... Worth the trip.
