Glass:

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
2 fl oz Vanilla flavoured vodka
34 fl oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
13 fl oz Pink grapefruit (pamplemousse rose) syrup
16 fl oz Monin Vanilla Syrup
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.
  2. Serve with a straw.

Created in 2003 by yours truly. Valkyrie comes from Norse mythology and literally translates as 'chooser of the slain'.

Increasing the grapefruit juice helps this very much. It's noticeable enough otherwise.

Agreed! I've also split the sugar syrups to introduce more grapefruit flavour.

Taste of vanilla was too strong for me personally. Added some Chambord which helped but changed the taste too much from the intended drink I imagine
