Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz La Fée Parisienne absinthe
3 oz Cranberry juice (sweetened)
3 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. Garnish with lemon wedge.

Review:

For those who don't speak French, 'vert' means green - the colour of absinthe. Vertical suggests take-off - try it and see.

Do NOT make this with unsweetened cranberry juice. An anise-smoked taste vacuum. Made it a second time with 22.5 ml grenadine, and that was a step in the right direction. I feel compelled to work on this, but it's not a compelling blend of flavors. It would end up being a different drink by the time I was done.
