Serve in a Martini glass
1 slice | Watermelon (fresh) |
1 1⁄2 oz | Ketel One Citroen Vodka |
1⁄2 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄2 oz | Cranberry juice (sweetened) |
1⁄2 oz | Giffard Watermelon liqueur |
1 dash | Orange Bitters by Angostura |
Garnish: Watermelon wedge
Cut watermelon into 16 segments, chop the flesh from one segment into cubes and MUDDLE in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
It looks a tad pinkier than a standard Cosmo and tastes just as the name suggests.
Created in 2003 by Eric Fossard at Cecconi's, London, England. One of many variations on the Cosmopolitan to emerge in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
