1/2 fl oz	Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water) 65.0°Brix
2 dash	Angostura Aromatic Bitters
1 1/3 fl oz	Thomas Henry Soda Water

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Collins glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
Prepare garnish of skewered orange slice wheel and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry (sail).

Method

SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
STRAIN into ice-filled glass, while also pouring soda water.

Interestingly I almost taste notes of chocolate and raspberries with this drink. I used Old Foresters 100 proof.

Very nice on a warm afternoon. Slight hints of the lemon and the whiskey. Used a California American Whiskey which was a bit overproof. Wonderful. Refreshing.
