Ingredients:
1 oz	Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column)
¹⁄₂ oz	Rhum Clément Blanc
³⁄₄ oz	Strucchi Bianco Vermouth
¹⁄₄ oz	Orange Curaçao liqueur
¹⁄₆ oz	Monin Grenadine Syrup
¹⁄₄ oz	Chilled water omit if using wet ice

How to make:

Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
Prepare garnish of lime zest twist and mint leaf/sprig tip.
STIR all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Express lime zest twist over cocktail and discard.
Garnish with mint leaf or sprig tip floated or pegged to rim.

I love the agricole rum, but still find it a bit sweet. Next time will make with dry vermouth. Did put in a splash of lime juice which cut the sweetness. Great cocktail.

Dry vermouth is the go. Otherwise I find it too sweet.

It's unbelievabe how just the smallest quantity of grenadine can make your brain associate/transform the grassy notes of agricole into mint

Usually I can get away with loose substitutions, but the combo of Rhum J.M. blanc 100 proof, Flor de Cana 4, and Cocchi Americano proved to be too strident, dry, and bitter, with the Rhum character dominating. Little if no orange or grenadine cutting through. The balance of this drink is clearly brand dependent. (4 May 2023, 3:28a)

Wonderfully balanced and great cocktail. Did find it initially a little on the sweet side. Added another 1/4 oz of the Canne Bleue. The taste of the agricole comes through much stronger and the sweetness is lessened slightly. A keeper.

I love this! It's so smooth and the Rhum really comes through nicely. I used a cheap Damoiseau but I'm going to get a decent Canne Bleu in for this and curious to hear what other people prefer with it.

Great cocktail. I used the Rhum JM Joyau Macouba Édition Limitée from Martinique. Fits better with Pierre Ferrand orange Curaçao to my liking. Was wondering whether shaking would not be more appropriate.
