| 15 ml | Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth |
| 15 ml | Mr Black coffee liqueur |
| 7.5 ml | Demerara/Muscovado/brown sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water) |
| 1 barspoon | Fernet Branca liqueur |
| 2 dash | Orange Bitters by Angostura |
| 45 ml | Monkey Shoulder whisky |
