Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
0.08 oz | La Fée Parisienne absinthe |
2 oz | Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac |
1⁄3 oz | Monin Pumpkin Spice Syrup |
3 dash | Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters |
Garnish: Lemon zest twist
POUR absinthe into chilled glass and rotate glass to coat the inside with absinthe. Shake out excess and place glass to one side. STIR other ingredients with ice and strain into absinthe-rinsed glass.
Don't feel bad if you add a cube or two of ice to this spirituous cocktail –it's perhaps all the better for it.
