HICKORY COCKTAIL
Beverages de Luxe, 1911
Supposed to be originated by Old General Hickory and much used in New Orleans.
One-half French Vermouth.
One-half Italian Vermouth.
One teaspoon Ami Picon.
Iced and strained to cocktail glass, then squeeze oil of a piece of lemon therein.
This aperitivo/digestivo may be low in alcohol but, when made with quality vermouths, it doesn't lack flavour.
