| 20 ml | Plantation 3 Stars rum |
| 30 ml | Plantation Original Dark rum |
| 1 barspoon | Powdered sugar (white sugar ground in mortar and pestle) |
| 20 ml | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 1 dash | Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix) |
