| 60 ml | Goslings Black Seal rum |
| 1 slice | Unsalted butter |
| 1 scoop | Demerara / dark Muscovado / brown sugar |
| 1 barspoon | Grated cinnamon |
| 1 pinch | Clove |
| 1 pinch | Allspice/Pimento pepper (ground) |
| 1 barspoon | Vanilla extract/essence |
| 120 ml | Hot water |
| 1 dried | Cinnamon stick |
