Just made a version of this with Orange blossom water in place of the rose water. Flamed orange zest over the top and orange zest garnish. It smells like a summer holiday.

I used Noirot rose water. I neglected to notice it was a shaken cocktail. Stirred, this is a beautiful floral old fashioned variation.

I used turkish rosewater, and slipped maybe 5ml. Dominant, but pleasingly so.

Rose water is a dominating ingredient, and I think 7.5ml is a bit much.
Maybe 5ml?
Certainly massively aromatic, and no citrus,so stays pleasingly uncloudy.

I originally made this with Turkish rose water which was much subtler than the Niesen Massey Rose Water I now have to hand. Using this even 2.5ml is more than enough, hence I've amended the recipe accordingly. Thanks for bringing to my attention.
