Serve in a Coupe glass
2 oz | Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column) |
1 oz | Honey herbal liqueur (e.g. Drambuie) |
1⁄2 oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
Honeyed rum with herbal and citrus nuances. Perhaps better served on-the-rocks.
Serve long over ice with soda.
Named after the MacKinnon family, the owners of Drambuie liqueur, at least they were when this cocktail was created. The brand is now owned by William Grant.
