Serve in a Highball (max 10oz/300ml)
| 40 ml | Bourbon whiskey |
| 20 ml | Rittenhouse bottled-in-bond straight rye whiskey |
| 10 ml | Cognac (brandy) |
| 30 ml | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 15 ml | Demerara/Muscovado/brown sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water) |
| 0.6 ml | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
| 0.2 ml | Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s |
