Flat at first but opens up as it warms. Gets closer but still not enough chartreuse or falernum for my taste to balance the whiskey. Good, but not great.

Very nice drink! Loved the blend of flavors. Haven't used much falernum but need to use it more. I'm a big green chartreuse fan also

Being a lover of green Chartreuse, I really like the herbal hints in this drink. Well balance with no ingredient overshadowing the other.

I've made this several times and usually take a sip before adding a fresh lemon slice. The lemon makes a huge difference. Still not getting a Last Word vibe. Maybe if The Last Word had a baby with a Manhattan and it inherited most of its genes from the grandparents?

This is an OK drink with an interesting expression of all the flavors which balance nicely in the glass. The issue is that the result of the balance simply isn't particularly delicious. It's not that it's undrinkable, it's just simply OK.

Looks like a fun play on a Tipperary #1, a favorite of mine.

Yummy. Will definitely make again. Complex taste, little stronger the deeper you get into it. Used Falernum syrup instead of liqueur

Very nice cocktail! The Falernum adds viscosity as well as a spicy flavour. I finished mine with a couple of dashes of Fee Brothers' Rhubarb Bitters and that added nice, fragrant touch.

Just made one, and I really like it!

The chartreuse and caler un really work together, with the vermouth tying it all together.

Love the Last Word, this is a fascinating variation!

A little confused why the pic has the drink cloudy and with a slight foamy head—was it shaken?
