Ingredients
4 wedge Pineapple (fresh) (cored, skinned and chopped)
2 fl oz Patrón Reposado tequila
1/2 fl oz Licor 43 Original liqueur
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of pineapple wedge.

Method

  1. MUDDLE pineapple in base of shaker.
  2. Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with pineapple wedge on rim.

This is interesting. Tequila, pineapple and aniseed and vanilla flavours. Nice and fresh, which seems to be a rarity for a Liqor 43 cocktail. We shall have it again!

Does this cocktail have anything to do with the Elbow song Grounds for Divorce? The opening lyric is “I’m working on a cocktail called Grounds for Divorce”.
