How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. POUR first 7 ingredients (all except tea) into stirring glass.
  4. SMOKE tea using a chef's smoker and direct smoke into stirring glass.
  5. Cover stirring glass to capture smoke for a minute or so.
  6. Remove cover, add ice and STIR.
  7. STRAIN into chilled glass.
  8. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish, along with skewered maraschino cherry.

Review:

Overdo the smoke and your cocktail will start to resemble a cigar. Too little and you may find a tad sweet.

Dear team, I wonder: is it possible to search the database for SMOKEd recipes like the one above? In general, how about introducing a filter set for mixing techniques (SHAKE, STIR, POUR etc)?

This will be a challenge until I've finished converting all the "How to make" instructions into step format. Please bear with me.
