Ingredients:
1 12 oz Bourbon whiskey
23 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
12 oz Orange Curaçao liqueur
12 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
12 oz Pineapple juice
1 dash Boker's bitters
1 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of pineapple wedge and skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherries..
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with pineapple wedge skewered with maraschino cherry.

I made it with Old Grand-Dad 100 proof and it was a touch sweet for my taste. I will try it with Rye as Simon Sedgley recommended.

We think this is better than our humble host's four-star rating. But we went with Rittenhouse Rye instead of the recommended bourbon. Way more expressive for us.
