Ingredients:
1 oz BarSol Mosto Verde Italia Pisco
1 oz Bittersweet orange-red aperitivo
1 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange slice wheel.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
  5. Garnish with orange slice.

Light and refreshing with compelling complexity. A very approachable bittersweet aperitivo. I made mine in 50ml measures, almost a double and the next thing you know, it was gone. Will go back again. Thank you to the maistre, Mr. Simon.

We enjoyed this cocktail but don't think that the Pisco stands toe to toe with the Aperitivo to the extent that Gin does. So we drop the Aperitivo down to 20-25ml...thus upsetting the mathematical elegance.
