Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Mastiha liqueur
23 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
12 oz Egg white (pasteurised) or 3 dashes Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer or Aquafaba or Vegan egg white alternative

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

One of my favorites. Every time I cant decide this cocktail is my first thought. Fresh, sweet and aromatic.

Got bottle of Skinos Mastiha on my holidays on Crete. For this brand I recommend to avoid sugar syrup as the liquor is quite sweet itself. Otherwise great twist on Sour!
