Serve in a Margarita glass
| 105 ml | Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado Tequila |
| 15 ml | Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur |
| 30 ml | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 20 ml | Sugar syrup 'simple' (1 sugar to 1 water, 48°Brix) |
| 40 ml | Chilled water |
| 3 swath | Lime zest (peel) |
