Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Patrón Silver blanco tequila
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Red bell pepper juice
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
1 23 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water chilled
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of rim glass with Tajín seasoning.
  3. RIM glass with Tajín seasoning (moisten outside edge with lime or orange juice and drip into Tajín).
  4. SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  5. Open shaker and POUR soda water into shaker.
  6. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created circa 2019 by Meaghan Dorman in New York City. Magan's recipe uses a homemade red bell pepper sugar syrup (in place of the pepper juice and sugar syrup).
