Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 fl oz Peated single malt whisky
1 fl oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
23 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
12 fl oz Monin Almond (Orgeat) Syrup
2 dash Fee Brothers Celery bitters
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of aromatic bitters &/or dehydrated lime slice wheel.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with line of aromatic bitters dashed across foamy head &/or float dehydrated lime slice wheel.

Absolutely loved this. Although I lacked a peated whisky (subbed Black Bush), the mezcal provided some smoke (Banhez Ensamble) and together a unique sour what with lime and the bitters. Subtle Angostura and whatever the
celery brings to the table, it works!

Found another spec on Reddit, which in my mind, is a bit more balanced.
1oz Laphroaig
1oz Mezcal
.75oz Orgeat
.75oz Lime juice
2 dasher celery bitters
1 dash angostura

And I always do a few drops of saline in my drinks. Absolutely delicious

That would work with a 1:1 orgeat, but too sweet with a 2:1 orgeat.
