Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Becherovka liqueur
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
8 drop Bob's Ginger Bitters
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) optional
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

AKA: Sother Teague's Aviation

History:

Adapted from a recipe created by Sother Teague and featured in his 2018 book, I'm Just Here for the Drinks. Sother's original recipe is based on 30ml (1oz) of Monkey 47 gin and rather than ginger bitters, calls for "2 dashes 18.21 Ginger Lemon Tincture."

Not sure the Becherova is the right partner for the Maraschino as it tends to take over the drink.
