A floral elderflower-influenced riff on a Last Word.
Adapted from a recipe created by Jen Marshall, Beverage Director at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York City, who was inspired to create a cocktail honouring the 2011 American adventure drama film Hugo. The film's backstory of Georges Méliès' life is largely true to life and recounts his becoming interested in film after seeing a demonstration of the Lumière brothers' camera. A magician and toymaker, but became a toy salesman at Paris' Montparnasse station after being forced into bankruptcy. This cocktail's name is an obscure reference to the Lumière brothers.
