History:

Adapted from a recipe created by Jen Marshall, Beverage Director at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York City, who was inspired to create a cocktail honouring the 2011 American adventure drama film Hugo. A magician and toymaker, but became a toy salesman at Paris' Montparnasse station after being forced into bankruptcy. This cocktail's name is an obscure reference to the Lumière brothers.
