Ingredients:
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
13 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
16 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass.

Adapted from a 2025 recipe by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails, who reworked the Alfa-Romeo in Elvezio Grassi's 1936 book Mille Misture.

Clapham does it again. A fairly bitter, bracing Negroni variant made even more so by Tempus Fugit Alessio Rosso and a dash of Bittermen's Burlesque Bitters for extra vrooom.
