Glass:

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
34 oz Coconut liqueur (under 35% alc./vol.)
34 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
16 oz White crème de cacao liqueur
5 drop Bob's Vanilla bitters
5 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. RIM glass with desiccated coconut (moisten outside edge with lime juice and dip into dedicated coconut).

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Serve naked, without garnish.

Review:

This Margarita works much better with the vanilla notes from a good reposado tequila and is a lesser cocktail when made with blanco. The white cacao liqueur and vanilla bitters are more than just niceties; they bring the other ingredients in the cocktail together.

Found it a tad sour for my taste. Added a little sugar syrup and it was beautiful
