Ingredients:
1 12 oz Ketel One Vodka
12 oz Americano bianco chilled
12 oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of basil leaf.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with basil leaf rested across the rim.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2015 by Pete Vasconcellos for the opening of Penrose bar. This cocktail became better known after reappearing eight years later on the opening menu of the nearby Albert's Bar in Manhattan, New York City.
