Ingredients:
23 fl oz Cognac (brandy)
23 fl oz Belle de Brillet pear liqueur
23 fl oz Elderflower liqueur
12 fl oz Sauvignon Blanc wine chilled
12 fl oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened) chilled
3 drop Bob's Tonka Bitters optional
2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s optional
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of pear wedge.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with pear wedge on rim.

History:

Created by yours truly after being challenged by Samantha, who attended one of our Spirited Evenings. She described a cocktail called a "Kiwi Sunrise" served at London's RAC Club, made with pear & cognac liqueur, elderflower liqueur, sauvignon blanc wine, and apple juice.
