History:

Singaporean Bacardí Legacy 2015 winning cocktail created by Peter Chua Zhibin at 28 Hong Kong Street, Singapore.

Sugar Man strives to be a drink that quenches the thirst, excites the palate and heals the soul of it's imbiber.

"Sugar Man, by Sixto Rodriguez, is a song about a man searching for his sugar man to ease his worries - and Rodriguez became just that by giving his listeners hope during troubled times with his song.

"Long before this song, a man by the name of Don Facundo Bacardí Masso had an interest in the art of distilling. He created one of the finest rums in the world, a rum that the Cubans regarded as a salvation from the harsh and fiery 'ron' previously available – a rum we know as BACARDÍ.

"By offering a moment of tranquillity to the people of Cuba with each sip of his rum during difficult times, Don Facundo Bacardí Masso became the embodiment of the Sugar Man.

"A man. A song. A drink. A legacy. Taste the Sugar Man.

Great drink, if indistinct... I made this and took the first sip before noticed the note about the salted cucumber garnish. I immediately thought "wow, that's sounds great here". Next time... So I made it again with muddled cukes and saline drops. Supreme!
