History:

Hong Kong Bacardí Legacy 2015 winning cocktail by Devender Sehgal, Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, Hong Kong. Devender's original recipe calls for 10 ml of both homemade ginger and honey syrups.

The inspiration for this drink was to make something simple yet delicious, well balanced and with every ingredient playing its own role on the palate. This cocktail is a great example of a drink with easily sourced ingredients that can be replicated anywhere, at any time.

"BACARDÍ Rum is the star of this drink, so I have carefully selected ingredients that go together well and do not dominate each other.

"The name of the drink pays tribute to the spirit of the Bacardí family who produced one of the finest rums in the world, even in the most difficult of times, with a spirit of true optimism.

Very good cocktail. I used grated ginger and upped with rich syrup. next time I would up the honey syrup which could be more recognizable. For rinsing I used Chartreuse Elixir, which IMHO is better, because more intensive.
