Cucumber Margarita

Glass:

Ingredients:
1 inch Cucumber (fresh) chopped
1 12 fl oz PatrĂ³n Silver blanco tequila
34 fl oz Cointreau L'Unique triple sec liqueur
34 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
16 fl oz Agave syrup (agave nectar)
4 drop Bob's Coriander Bitters
3 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered cucumber ribbon.

How to make:

  1. MUDDLE cucumber in base of shaker. (Ideally, cut skin from the cucumber log before chopping).
  2. Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. Garnish with skewered cucumber ribbon.

Review:

A classic Margarita freshened by the addition of cucumber. (Coriander bitters add depth of flavour and balance if you have them.) I tried this served over ice in an old-fashioned, but it's better served straight up.
