History:

Created for Bacardí Legacy 2017 by Conor Myers at The Exchequer in Dublin, Ireland.

I wanted to create a drink that looked loud and fun, was efficient, low cost with a low alc./vol. and could potentially be a permanent fixture at Bacardí's festival circuit. I wanted to bring two subcultures closer together; Bacardí has always been a massive part of the whole underground music scene. 'Electric Avenue' represents all that is fun, large crowds and big venues – it pairs perfectly with loud thumping music and underground culture.

Nice drink, found it hard to float the port, but both myself and my wife like it. Will have to try it on a rum/port loving friend of ours

I made the new cocktail photographed above with a ruby port float. I didn't find it hard to float.

Only had White Bacardi and 10yo tawny port but it was still pretty good!
