Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
3 slice | Cucumber (fresh) |
1 pinch | Salt (sea salt) |
1 oz | Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal |
3⁄4 oz | Gentian liqueur (e.g. Suze, Salers etc) |
1⁄4 oz | Demerara/Muscovado/brown sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water) |
1⁄4 oz | Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed) |
Garnish: Cucumber slice & dust with cinnamon
MUDDLE cucumber slices and salt in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.
Savoury and lightly bittersweet. An interesting apéritif cocktail.
