I love anything with black strap rum. This has a great smoothness. Don't go overboard on shaking because the pineapple juice will aerate more than other citrus and cause a foam situation that might make the cocktail too much liquid for the glass. I also recommend a Collins class for that very reason.

Pineapple sweetness smoothes out the ginger punch. Good for those who might find a Dark & Stormy a bit too intense.
