Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
14 oz Monin Grenadine Syrup
3 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Lemon wedge & strawberry or raspberries

How to make:

SHAKE first four ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass. TOP with soda and briefly stir to integrate.

Review:

As the name suggests, this refreshing and fruity long drink is both gin-laced and pink in colour. And yes, it's also fizzy. Well if not out and out fizzy, it is at least invigorated with sparkling water. So perhaps that's why merely fizz rather than fizzy?

I was using homemade grenadine and it didn't come out nearly as colourful as the picture (but even with something lurid, 7.5ml is not a lot so I doubt anyone will get much colour). It's a very pleasant summery drink though. Well balanced and slightly tart.
